First Day of School and Seminary

Since the essay on What I did Over Summer Vacation has been finished and presented, it is time to chronicle the return to classes, so, sing along with me here:

On the first day of school classes, my daddy gave to me - a ride in the family car.

On the second day of school classes, my daddy gave to me - 2 sandwiches and a ride in the family car...

We're all smiles now, so let's see your "game faces":

Very good.

Now, how about a quick look at the difference between boys and girls. The YM and YW, for combined activity on the first day of school, went canoeing. See how well the YW are doing? See the YM? Yes, but where is their canoe you ask. We are still wondering the same thing. It might be worth noting that the sun no longer stays up until 11 pm, and that there is a slight nip in the air after it sets. The YM pictured here learned that lesson that night.

Oh, I think I see their canoe. And I see some other YM too.

The local YMCA is connected to the high school, and that is where the seminary classes are held. Feel free to sing the song if you know the lyrics, just make sure no one is in the room before you break out in song. Otherwise, questions might be raised about your musical tastes (or in my case, abilities or lack thereof.)

The youth are glad to be back in school, and we are happy our sons are back in school too.
Hope yours are too.
Hugs and Kisses.
